Whether it is to perfect your technique or learn a brand new skill, Billingham Forum Ice Arena offers Learn to Skate lessons to guide you along the right path. Even if you have never been on an ice rink before or simply want to build a little more confidence on the ice, our Ice Coaches are there to get you started.
view timetableTees Active’s Learn to Skate courses are available for both juniors (under 16) and adults. Ice skating lessons are an excellent way to keep fit, learn new skills or improve on your existing level of ability. The lessons take you progressively through Levels 1-10 of the Tees Active Learn to Skate Programme.
We’ll provide the ice skates for those that don’t have their own and guide you through the levels as you steadily progress and improve your skills. Don’t forget that practice makes perfect so we advise that the skills acquired should be practiced outside of lesson time to build confidence and fluidity of movement.
You’ll have your own Record of Achievement that will be signed by your Ice Coach as you successfully pass each level. Embroidered badges and certificates can also be purchased at reception.
