BISC has been based at Billingham Forum for over 40 years and promotes figure skating with a particular emphasis on technical, artistic and recreational skills for all ages.

Billingham Forum is the home of local legends, the Cleveland Comets. The Comets are the North East’s most prominent recreational ice hockey team and they play and train in Billingham Forum.
View WebsiteEstablished in 1984 by a small team of avid Billingham Bombers fans. The team has gone from strength to strength, due to their dedication and love of the sport!
Over the many years since they formed, the team have toured Canada and the Czech Republic, playing the cream of recreational ice hockey teams and also boast the accolade of having three members play in the “Old Timers World Championships” in the Czech Republic.

SNAPS (Special Needs Activities with Parents Support) Skate session is organised by Ruth Benson for young people aged 0-25 with disabilities and learning needs.
Visit WebsiteUsers can access the ice in a variety of ways either on ice skates, sledges or in their own wheelchairs to ensure they enjoy the experience.
The session is parent/carer led and you are responsible for your own young people at all times. There is usually no need to book – if you’ve not been along for a while or haven’t joined in our activities before just come along so come along and try our activities!
