Billingham Stars Junior Ice Hockey travelled down to Sheffield Ice at the weekend (22nd – 23rd June 2019) for the Sheffield U15’s tournament.
After a tough first day, winning just one out of three matches, the team pulled together to win three in a row on Sunday and secured their place in the final against the Sheffield Stormers who had home rink advantage. The final was a tense game but the Billingham Stars Junior Ice Hockey team played their hearts out and went on to win 3-2!
A fantastic achievement for all those involved! Congratulations to all of the team, coaches and proud parents from everyone at Billingham Forum Ice Arena!
